The music featured is the exquisite "Ave Maria" from Verdi's opera, Otello. It is sung by the award-winning, rich voice of Rufina James. Even those not familiar with opera and classical music are finding this presentation a richly rewarding experience.
Although the "Ave Maria" prayer originated from a distinct religious discipline, its universal devotional message and prayer for all mankind transcends denominations. It is being embraced by people of all walks of life and of all faiths.
The Prayer for New Orleans is a tremendous comfort to so many in this perilous world. We invite you to share it with those you care about. Click here to share the prayer.
